BHAVANI BIRYANI HOUSE

Warangal is a hot place, especially on JPN Road. We are right across from the ICICI bank. It is a good spot because people come to the bank and then they get hungry. We decided to call it Bhavani Biryani House because it felt right. We have huge pots of rice going from early morning. The steam fills up the whole shop. We do not use those electric cookers. We like the old way. You can see the fire under the big handis. It is a busy road with a lot of dust and noise, but once you sit down with a plate, you forget about the traffic outside. We serve a lot of office workers during lunch. They are always in a rush. We try to plate things fast. Sometimes we get the order wrong when it is too crowded, but we fix it quick. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. JPN Road has many shops but we have been here for a good while. We keep the water cold and the rice hot. That is about all you need. The floor is stone and it is easy to wash. We close up when the pots are empty. Some days it is 3 pm, some days it is later. It depends on the day. We are just local people serving the city we live in.
