Athidii Restaurant

We are at House No 5-9-167 in Hanamkonda, which is part of Warangal. Our place is right opposite the Police Parade Ground in the Kishanpura area. It’s a 506001 address. In the mornings, you can often hear the activity from the parade ground across the street. It’s a very open and visible spot. Running a restaurant here means we have to be ready for the lunch rush every single day. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. We use traditional stoves and big pots. The kitchen gets really hot, especially in the summer months. We are just a group of people who know how to cook the food people around here like. There’s no corporate management telling us what to do. We just look at what’s fresh and start the day. Sometimes we run out of things, and we have to tell people we're sorry. That’s just how a small restaurant works. Kishanpura is a lively neighborhood. We see a lot of students and office workers. We try to keep the tables clean, but with so many people, it’s a constant job. The building itself is an older house structure, which gives it a different feel than the new glass buildings you see elsewhere. We’re just here doing our thing, making sure the rice is hot and the curry is ready. It’s a simple life. We close up when the food is gone and come back the next morning.
