It’s a practical location for a transport business since we are right in the middle of things near Meerasabkunta. The day usually starts with a lot of noise as we get things organized. I handle the logistics part of it, which means a lot of talking and writing things down in ledgers. Our vehicles go out all over the area, and they come back covered in the red dust of the local roads. It’s a tough business because things change fast, like the price of fuel or a road being closed for repairs. I don't really have a big staff, just a few reliable people who know how to get things done. We don't use any high-tech systems, just our own experience and knowing the local geography well. The office is small and usually has a fan humming in the corner to beat the heat. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet for an hour while we wait for news from the road. People come to us because they know we are local and we stay at our post. It’s about being there when someone needs a load moved without making a big fuss about it. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized.
