Ellamma Transport

Ellamma Transport is run from H. No. 12-82 in Sc Colony. We are located in Veleru village, which is part of the Dharmasagar mandal. Being in a smaller place like this means everyone knows everyone else. We started this transport business because people in the village and the nearby areas always need help moving goods from one place to another. We have a few vehicles that we keep running. It’s a lot of work making sure they stay in good condition, especially with the roads being what they are sometimes. My days usually start very early, often before the sun is up, checking the schedules and making sure the drivers are ready to go. We don’t have a big fancy office; mostly we just coordinate things from the house or out by the trucks. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so everyone chips in when things get busy. Sometimes a truck breaks down or a delivery is late, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We don't have any polished speeches about what we do. We just pick things up and drop them off where they are supposed to go. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. If you live around Veleru or Dharmasagar, you’ve probably seen our trucks on the road at some point. We’re just local people doing local work and trying to be as reliable as we can be.
