Daravath Neelu

My name is Daravath Neelu and I run my business right from my home at house number 5-88. We are located in Dabba Thanda, which is part of Mondrai village in the Kodakandla area. It is a very small and local operation. I don't have a separate office or any employees helping me out. Most of my work happens in the front room of my house or just outside under the shade. I started this because I wanted to help my family and there weren't many other jobs around here. I mostly handle small goods and services that the people in the Thanda need for their daily lives. Since everyone knows each other, my neighbors just drop by whenever they need something. I don't use a computer or any modern gadgets for my business. I keep all my accounts in a small notebook with a pen. The weather here gets very hot in the afternoon, so I usually do most of my work in the early morning. It is a very quiet life and I like being able to work from home. Sometimes my friends come over to chat while I am busy, which makes the day go by faster. I don't have a sign outside my house because everyone already knows where I live. It is a simple way to make a living and it suits me just fine.
