My name is Satish and I run Sharanya Restaurant here on Station Road. We are at Door No 8-6-35, right near the lane that goes to Devi Theatre. I spend most of my day sitting behind the wooden counter near the entrance. The restaurant isn't anything special to look at, just some sturdy tables and chairs we bought years ago. We open up early in the morning, usually around seven, to get the tiffin ready for the people catching the early trains. Since the station is so close, we get a lot of noise from the engines and the announcements. You get used to it after a while. My wife and two other ladies handle the kitchen. We don't have a printed menu because we just cook whatever is fresh at the market that morning. Usually, it's rice, dal, and a couple of vegetable curries. In the evenings, the Devi Theatre Lane gets very crowded with people going for the movies. They often stop by for a quick tea or some snacks before the show starts. The fans on the ceiling are old and they creak a bit when they're on full speed. We try to keep the floor swept, but with so many people coming in and out from the dusty road, it's hard work. It's a simple life running a place like this in Warangal. We just keep going day by day, serving whoever walks through the door.
