New City Dhaba

New City Dhaba is located in Kishanpura, right in the Hanamkonda area of Warangal. We are situated beside the Pushpanjali Function Hall, so when there is a wedding or a big party, we get a lot of the overflow crowd. The 506001 area is pretty lively most of the time. Running a dhaba is different from a regular restaurant. It’s more laid back. We have benches and the atmosphere is very casual. Sometimes the music from the function hall is so loud we can barely hear the customers, but it makes things interesting. I grew up around here and I know most of the people who walk by every day. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us doing everything from cooking to cleaning. The kitchen gets really hot during the summer months, but that is just part of the job. We get a lot of truck drivers and local workers who just want a heavy meal before they head home. I usually stay late to make sure everything is locked up tight. We don't have any corporate rules or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get the work done. It’s an honest way to make a living and we have been doing it this way for quite a long time now.
