Nanking Restaurant

Nanking Restaurant is inside the Asian Sridevi Mall. We are on the New Bus Stand Road in the Hanamkonda part of Warangal. Since we are near the Jns Stadium, we get a lot of people who come in after watching a game or practicing. The mall itself brings in a lot of foot traffic, especially on the weekends when families are out for a walk. It’s a different vibe than a street shop because everything is under one roof. We have to follow the mall rules about when we open and close. The kitchen is tucked away in the back and it stays quite busy throughout the shift. We have a lot of orders coming in from the food court area too. I spend a lot of time checking the stock in the pantry. Hanamkonda is a busy place and being near the bus stand means there are always people from out of town looking for a place to eat. The tables are usually full on Saturday nights and it gets a bit loud with everyone talking at once. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us doing the cooking and serving. Sometimes the mall air conditioning is too cold and other times it’s not enough. We just deal with it. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day. We’ve been here at 506001 for a while and it’s a steady kind of life. We just make the food and hope the day goes by smoothly.
