This office is located in Ukkunagaram, right in Sector-10 at 201-A. If you know Visakhapatnam, you know this is the heart of the steel township. It’s a very specific kind of neighborhood where almost everyone is connected to the industry in one way or another. Our particular branch handles a lot of the administrative side of things. It’s not as loud here as it is near the actual blast furnaces, but we still feel the hum of the plant nearby. The office is fairly standard—desks, filing cabinets, and a few fans to keep the air moving. We spend our days dealing with paperwork, supply chains, and keeping track of where the steel is going. It can be repetitive, but it’s important work for keeping the whole operation running smoothly. We have a few trees outside the window which is nice when you need a break from staring at spreadsheets. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’ve seen the township change and grow. We usually bring our lunches from home and eat together in the small break area. It’s a quiet, professional environment without being too stiff. We just focus on hitting our targets and making sure the logistics don't get messed up. It’s a solid job in a solid town, and we take some pride in being part of the local economy here in Andhra Pradesh. We just keep our heads down and work.
