Surya Kiran Steels

Working in the steel business means you get used to the sound of metal clanging and the smell of grease. We are located in A-7 Sector, right near the Srmt Autonagar area, which is full of other businesses and workshops. It’s an industrial part of town, so nobody really expects it to be pretty. At Surya Kiran Steels, our day-to-day is mostly about managing the inventory and getting the steel moved to where it needs to go. It’s heavy work, and we spend a lot of time on our feet on the concrete floor. The shed can get really hot in the summer, and we usually have a big fan running just to keep the air moving a little bit. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just supply steel and keep the records straight in our ledgers. The Autonagar area is always bustling with mechanics and drivers, so there is always something happening outside. Sometimes we stand at the entrance for a break and watch the trucks go by. It’s a rough and ready kind of place, and that’s how we like it. We’ve got our regulars who know exactly where to find us in Sector A-7. We don’t go in for big meetings or fancy office stuff. We just handle the steel, write out the bills, and make sure everything is loaded up safely for the trucks. It’s a long day, but we get it done.
