Steel City Trading Company

Steel City Trading Company is located right on 75 Feet Road in Visakhapatnam. Being near the coast, the air is always a bit salty, which we have to watch out for because of the materials we handle. The road outside is usually busy with heavy vehicles, and it can get quite loud with all the honking and the sound of engines. We have a yard where we keep the heavier stock, and it is a lot of heavy lifting and shifting things around with the help of a few workers. Our office is just a small room where we keep the ledgers and the phone. It gets pretty hot during the day, so we usually have the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the ocean. We deal with various types of steel and metal products, mostly for local construction or repair work. It is a straightforward trading business where we buy in bulk and sell to people who need specific amounts for their projects. There is nothing very exciting about it, just a lot of counting, weighing, and loading trucks. We have been on 75 Feet Road for long enough that most of the drivers and other business owners in the area know us. We just try to keep the stock moving and make sure the deliveries go out on time, even when the traffic is bad or the weather is rough.
