Steel Plant

We’re located over at 54/874 in Auto Nagar. People just call us Steel Plant. It’s a simple name for a simple business. Auto Nagar is always buzzing with activity, and we’re right in the thick of it. We spend most of our time dealing with steel, as you might guess. There’s always a lot of loading and unloading going on. It’s a gritty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We don’t have any polished floors or air-conditioned lobbies. It’s just a warehouse and a small area where we keep the records. We’ve been here for several years, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we stay put. The dust is a constant battle, but that’s just the nature of the work at 54/874. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. We know our regulars by their first names. It’s more of a community feel than a corporate one. We don’t spend money on fancy marketing stuff. We figure if we do what we’re supposed to do, people will keep coming back. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We just take it as it comes. If you’re driving through Auto Nagar, you’ll see us. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on the steel and getting it where it needs to go.
