Srujana Metals is located in Sanivada Village. We are part of the Rajeev Nagar area in Vizag. It’s an interesting spot because it’s got that village feel but it’s still connected to the industrial side of Vizag. We have a decent-sized plot where we keep all the metal. It’s usually quite hot out here, especially in the afternoons. We have a small office where we do the billing. It’s got a few old files and a computer that’s seen better days. The workers here are mostly locals from Sanivada. We’ve been operating here for several years now. You can hear the sounds of the city in the distance, but it’s quieter where we are. We don't go in for big marketing or slogans. We just focus on the metals we have in stock. People drive out here to see what we’ve got. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a working yard. Sometimes the goats from the village wander near the gate. We just shoo them away. It’s just the way it is here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do our work and keep things running. If you're coming from Vizag, it takes a little bit of time to get here, but it's a straight enough shot. Most of our days are spent checking the scales and talking to the truck drivers.
