Our place is at Mig 2, Door No. 49-58-2, over in the Green Park area. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve set up our concrete paver operations right here. If you walk past, you’ll see stacks of blocks and different shapes of stone piled up in the yard. It isn't a quiet office job; there’s always the sound of things being moved or the clinking of concrete. We spend most of our time out there in the heat, making sure the orders are ready and the piles aren't tipping over. Green Park is a good spot, though sometimes the narrow roads make it tricky for the bigger trucks to navigate the turns near our door. We’ve had to learn the best times to move things so we don't bother the neighbors too much. Inside the office, it’s mostly just files and some samples of the pavers we’ve made over the months. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those big city firms with glass walls and fancy carpets. We wear boots and work clothes because that’s what the job needs. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the weather, and other days it feels like everyone needs their driveway done at once. It’s a local operation, run by people who live nearby and know the streets. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come.
