Our small office is tucked away in Chandra Nagar, right here in the Gopalapatnam area of Visakhapatnam. K.Murali Krishna is the main person here, working alongside E.Ramesh to keep things running for J.K.Cement. It’s a pretty standard setup in a residential neighborhood, so it feels more like a home than a big company headquarters. We handle the local distribution and talk to the people who need cement for their projects around Vizag. The humidity here can be something else, but we stay busy. We don't have a giant showroom or anything flashy. Usually, it’s just a couple of us on the phones or checking the ledgers. We make sure the orders are logged and the trucks get through the city traffic. It’s not always smooth; sometimes the deliveries are late because of the roads, and we have to explain that to the customers. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make sure the cement gets from the plant to the builders who need it. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we’ve been at it for a while now. Most people around here know where to find us if they need to discuss an order. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing to keep the supply moving.
