Our office is situated at Door No. R-74 in the Scindia New Colony. It’s in the Gandhigram Post area of Visakhapatnam. Being in a port city like Vizag, the air is always a bit salty and humid, which you definitely notice. J. Lakshmi Manasa is usually around handling things. The office itself is quite plain, just a regular building in the colony where we do our business. We aren't trying to be fancy or modern; we just have what we need to get the job done. We spend our time talking to people about cement orders and checking the delivery schedules. The colony is usually quiet, which is nice for focusing on the paperwork. We have a few desks and a lot of files that have built up over the months. People from the local area stop by when they are starting a new project. We don't have any big sales pitches. We just tell them what we have and when it can be delivered. The staff here usually takes a break in the late afternoon when it gets a bit cooler. We handle everything from the small individual orders to the bigger loads for contractors. It’s a steady kind of work. We’ve been in this spot for a while, so we’ve become part of the neighborhood routine. It’s just a normal place where we work hard and go home at the end of the day.
