Operating out of Seethammadhara, specifically in the Balayya Sastry Layout, means we are right in the middle of a busy residential and commercial mix. Being at 50-50-5, we spend most of our time dealing with concrete and all the technical things that go along with it. It’s heavy work and can get pretty messy with the dust and the mixing, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The layout is usually quiet in the early mornings before the sun really hits the pavement. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at site plans spread out on the old wooden table in the corner of the office. There’s always someone coming in to ask about a mix or a project they’re starting nearby. We don’t really do fancy presentations or brochures. Mostly, we just show people what we’ve done and talk through the steps. Concrete is one of those things you have to get right the first time, or it’s a massive headache later on for everyone. Our space is filled with samples and some old machinery that’s seen better days but still works perfectly for what we need. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where work actually happens. The neighbors know us by the sound of the trucks coming in. We’ve been in this part of town long enough that we don’t need a big sign out front.
