Pavani Traders

Our shop is right there at number one in the Chendana Complex in Vizag. We are very close to the Hanuman Temple, so we hear the bells and the crowds pretty clearly most days. Pavani Traders is basically a place where we trade all sorts of goods. It’s a small shop, and it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock sitting on the floor waiting to be moved. We have shelves lining the walls, mostly filled with things people in the neighborhood need. I spend a lot of time behind the counter, talking to customers who come in. Many of them are regulars who just stop by for a chat as much as for buying anything. The Vizag heat can be tough, so we usually have the fan going full blast. It’s a simple life, opening up the shutters in the morning and closing them late at night. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know where we are because of the temple nearby. Sometimes we get deliveries that take up the whole sidewalk for a few minutes. We try to be quick about it so the neighbors don't get annoyed. It’s just us here, keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. We don't overthink things. If a customer needs something we don't have, we try to find it for them next time.
