Our office is tucked away on the third floor of an old building on Pidaparthivari Street. If you know Daba Gardens, you know it’s always crowded and finding a place to park is a nightmare. Flat 303 isn't a huge space, but it’s where we do all our planning and paperwork for the fabrication side of things. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway can be a little dark sometimes. We usually have rolls of drawings spread out over the desks and the phone rings more than I’d like. It’s just how a small business operates. We handle a lot of metal work and sometimes the noise from the street below makes it hard to hear, but we are used to it by now. The tea stalls nearby are where we usually end up when the afternoon slump hits. We don't use big words or try to act like a corporate firm. We are just a local bunch making things out of metal. Sometimes the deadlines are tight and we stay late with the tube lights buzzing overhead. It’s not glamorous at all. We just focus on the measurements and making sure the welding is solid. If you are looking for a shiny showroom, this isn't it. We are just here in Daba Gardens doing what we know how to do, day in and day out.
