Modern Steel & Cement

We have been operating out of our spot at 35-64-34 Mohammad Darga Road for a good while now. Being in Mandi Bazar, things stay pretty busy around the yard. We mostly deal with steel and cement for local building projects. It is dusty work and my hands are usually gray by the end of the day, but that is just how it goes in this trade. We do not have a fancy office or any polished sales staff here. It is just a practical place where we keep the supplies dry and ready for the trucks. People come by when they are starting a new house or fixing up a shop. We spend a lot of our time unloading shipments and then loading them back onto smaller vehicles for delivery. The road can get a bit tight when the big trucks arrive, so we have to move fast. We know the builders in the neighborhood by their first names. Sometimes the phone rings constantly and other times we just sit and wait for the next person to walk through the gate. We keep everything written down in a ledger on the desk. It is an honest way to make a living and we like being part of the Mandi Bazar community. If you need a few bags of cement or some steel rods, we usually have what you are looking for sitting right in the back shed.
