Jayanth Kandi

Jayanth Kandi is the name on the door here at D.No 40-2-72 in Santhi Nagar-2. We are located in the Kailasapuram area of Visakhapatnam. I have lived and worked around here for a long time. The house is easy to find if you know where the main landmarks are, but sometimes the delivery drivers get lost with the door numbers. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time. You can hear the neighbors’ kids playing outside in the evenings. I started doing this work because I wanted to stay local. My office is basically just a room with a decent chair and a lot of notebooks. I don’t like things to be too cluttered, but the paper piles up anyway. Kailasapuram has changed a lot since I was younger. There are more buildings now and it feels more crowded. I usually start my day with a walk to the corner shop for a newspaper. Then I sit down and see what needs to be handled for the day. I don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It’s mostly just me taking care of things. People stop by to chat or ask for help with their paperwork. I try to be helpful when I can. The 530001 postcode is a busy part of the city, but my little corner feels tucked away. It’s a simple setup and it works for what I need to do. I’ll probably be at this same desk for another ten years.
