Chatan Enterprises

Our place is over at 16-9-7 in Sai Madhava Nagar, which is part of Naidu Thota. It is a bit quieter back here than on the main roads, which we mostly like. Chatan Enterprises has been operating from this building for a while. It’s a mix of a residential area and small shops, so you see kids playing outside while we are loading up the van. We deal with various items and it keeps us pretty busy through the week. The office has an old ceiling fan that clicks and some plastic chairs for when people visit. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at the stock in the back room. The light in the morning is nice because of the way the building faces. We don’t have a huge staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from sweeping the floor to handling the accounts. Naidu Thota is a decent place to work, even if the roads get a bit muddy when it rains. We try to keep things simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. It’s just about getting the goods in and getting them out again. We keep our own records and don't use many fancy machines. Every day is pretty much the same, starting at nine and finishing up when the light fades. It’s just honest work in a regular neighborhood where everyone knows each other.
