Gopal Steel Syndicate

We've been at this spot on Main Road for quite a while now. Gopal Steel Syndicate is basically right next to Hotel Ratna Palace, so it’s pretty easy for people to find us when they’re driving through. It gets busy around here, especially with the traffic on the main road, but we manage. We handle a lot of steel stuff every day. Usually, someone is around to help out if you need to look at what we have in stock. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we keep things moving. Sometimes the yard gets a bit cluttered when a fresh shipment comes in, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We try to keep things simple. If you're coming from the hotel side, you can’t miss us. We’ve seen a lot of changes on this street over the years, shops opening and closing, but we’re still here doing our thing. It’s mostly hard work and long days. We deal with all sorts of people, from local builders to folks just fixing up something at home. There's always something to be loaded or unloaded. We don't really do the whole big corporate thing. It’s more about just getting the job done and making sure the inventory is right. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, other times it's quiet enough to actually organize the back. We just focus on the steel and making sure we have what people ask for when they stop by.
