We've been down here in Malkapuram for quite a while now. If you head towards Scindia Road, you can't really miss us. The yard is usually full of trucks coming and going at odd hours. Most days it’s just us guys dealing with the steel loads and making sure the inventory matches up with what the paperwork says. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up from the coast. We started out small, just a few people trying to get things moving, and now the place feels much busier. Our crew doesn't really do the whole corporate thing. We just wear our work clothes and get to it. Sometimes the machinery acts up, and we have to spend half the morning fixing a crane or a cutter, but that is just part of the job. You’ll find us drinking tea by the gate when the afternoon shift changes over. There is a lot of noise from the road, but we are used to it by now. It is a simple setup really. We take in the raw materials, move them around the floor, and get them out to where they need to go next. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know each other's families. It makes the long hours feel a bit shorter when you’re working with people you actually know.
