Sri Sai Ushodaya Vidyaniketan

Our school is located in Patamata, right on one of the side streets. It’s a decent area of Vijayawada, though it can get quite congested with all the traffic. We have a multi-story building that houses all the classrooms. It’s nothing too flashy, just standard walls and windows that we try to keep clean. Every morning starts with the usual rush of school buses and parents. The teachers usually arrive a bit early to get the chalk and registers ready. We have a small staff room where we sit and have tea before the first bell. The kids are generally well-behaved, but they have their moments like any other group of students. We don't have a giant field, so physical education happens in the open space we have. It’s a bit tight when the whole school is out there at once. The classrooms can get a bit warm in the afternoons, but we’re used to the weather here. We’ve had many batches pass through these halls over the years. Some of the former students even come back to visit us sometimes. We don't spend money on big billboards or fancy brochures. People in the colony know where we are and what we do. It’s just a place for kids to learn their basics and hang out with their friends. We just take it one day at a time. The principal is usually busy with paperwork in the small office, while the rest of us handle the teaching.
