Akshara International School

We are tucked away in Ashok Nagar here in Vijayawada. If you know the 520007 area, you know it can get pretty busy in the mornings when parents are dropping kids off. Akshara International School has been part of this neighborhood for a while now. It’s not a huge, flashy place, just a regular building where we try to get things done every day. The classrooms are usually full of noise until the bell rings. Vijayawada heat is something we all just deal with, so the fans are always going. Most of us working here live close by, so we see the same faces at the local tea stalls or walking down the street. It’s just a normal school day-to-day. We don't have fancy marble floors or anything, but the desks are sturdy and the chalkboards get a lot of use. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to hear, but we manage. You’ll find the staff drinking coffee in the small break room when there’s a quiet moment. It’s a lot of work keeping things running, especially with so many kids running around the halls. We just focus on the basics. The building itself has seen a lot of seasons. Ashok Nagar is a decent place to be located. We just open the gates early and stay until the last student goes home in the evening. That’s pretty much the whole story of our day.
