Andhra Loyola College

This is a college right in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. If you live around here, you probably know where the campus is. It’s quite a large space with lots of students coming and going at all hours. We have the old buildings and some newer ones too, all mixed together. The trees provide some shade during those really hot days we get in this part of the state. It’s a busy place. Students are usually sitting around on the benches or rushing to find their next classroom. We have people from all over coming here to study different things. It’s not just about the books, though that’s a big part of it. There is always something happening, maybe a group of students practicing for something or just hanging out near the canteen. It’s been around for a long time, so the walls have some history to them. It feels like a small town inside the city sometimes. We just keep things moving, making sure the schedules are followed and the grounds are kept up as best as we can. It’s a lot of work to manage so many people, but it’s what we do. You see a lot of cycles and bikes parked near the entrance every morning. It’s just a regular part of life here in Vijayawada. The stairs are worn down from years of feet walking up and down them daily. Most classrooms have big windows to let in the breeze.
