Jagans Institute

You can find Jagans Institute at Door No 41-4-36 in the Krishna Lanka area of Vijayawada. We are right beside the Shivalayam in Metla Bazar. It’s a very local neighborhood. You can hear the sounds from the temple throughout the day, which is actually quite nice. We’ve been here for a long time. Our building is just a regular house that we’ve converted into a space for learning. It feels more like a home than an office. We have a few rooms with benches and some old cupboards filled with books. The floors are stone. They stay cool during the summer, which is good. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. Most people just know we are here because they live in the area or heard about us from a neighbor. We spend our days teaching and talking to whoever drops by. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for the students to arrive. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s quiet. Metla Bazar is a busy place with lots of shops, so there’s always something to see. We know the people who sell vegetables and the guy who runs the tea stall. We’re just part of the furniture here in Krishna Lanka. We do our work, help the kids, and go about our day. It’s not complicated. We just like being part of the community in 520013.
