Sree Vidya Degree&Jr.College

We are situated in Maruthinagar, right along the Eluru Road in Vijayawada. It is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of movement outside. The college building stands among other shops and businesses. We have both degree and junior college students here, so the age range is quite broad. It gets pretty loud with the buses and autos passing by constantly. That’s just life in Vijayawada for you. The students are used to it, and so are we. Inside the gates, we try to keep things focused on the books. It’s a very local feel. Most people who work here live in the nearby colonies. We aren't trying to be some high-end private academy with a fancy campus. We are just a neighborhood college providing a place for students to learn. You’ll see groups of students standing near the entrance during lunch breaks, usually talking about their exams or where to eat. The building itself is functional and has seen many batches of students pass through its doors. We keep the classrooms tidy and the schedule moving. It’s a simple, honest way to run a school. There isn't much to say beyond that. We are just here on Eluru Road, doing what we do every day. It’s a familiar part of the neighborhood for everyone living in Maruthinagar. The staff and the students just make it work together despite the heat and the noise.
