Satyam Computer Services Limited is over at D.No:77-50-6 in Santhi Nagar, Vijayawada. It’s the house of Mr. T. N. Venkataraman, and we’ve set up our workspace right there in the Prakash Nagar and Singh Nagar area. Living and working in the 520015 area means we are right in the thick of the local neighborhood. It’s not a corporate office park with glass elevators. It’s just a regular building where we have our computers and desks set up. We spend our mornings getting things ready and our afternoons tackling whatever work has come in. The streets outside can be a bit noisy with the local traffic, but we don’t mind it much. We’ve got a small group of people here who just know how to handle computer services without making a big fuss about it. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just tell people where we are and what we do. It’s a simple arrangement that has worked for us for a good while now. Sometimes the power goes out or the heat gets a bit much, but that’s just life in Vijayawada. We keep the fans running and stay focused on the screens. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our daily tasks and go home at the end of the day. It’s a practical way to run things and it suits our style perfectly.
