Assistant

I am Farzana Khatun and I live with my husband Abdul Salam at Door Number 39-3-22/3. We are on Mosque Street in the Labbipet area of Vijayawada. Our house is right beside the Kapu Kalyanamandapam, which is a big landmark around here. I work as an assistant and do most of my tasks from home or nearby. This street gets very busy during wedding seasons because of the mandapam next door. There are always cars and music and people everywhere. It makes the neighborhood feel very alive. I’ve lived in Vijayawada for a long time. The weather is usually very humid, but we are used to it. My work involves keeping track of things and helping people with their daily needs. It’s not a corporate job with a suit and tie. It is more about being useful and getting things done correctly. I have a small area in the house where I keep my files and my phone. Sometimes the neighbors come by to ask for help with their paperwork. It is a quiet life when there isn't a wedding going on. Mosque Street is a nice place to be. We have been here for years and know everyone on the block. I don't need a big office to do my job well. Just a clear head and a bit of space to work. It’s a simple, honest way to live. I like being helpful.
