Vsg Arts & Commerce College

We are the Vsg Arts & Commerce College, located in Prakruti Colony in Bijapur. Our spot is right on the Ring Road near Adarsh Nagar, and the pin is 586103. It’s a convenient place because the road makes it easy for students to get here from different parts of Karnataka. The college has both arts and commerce sides, so there’s always a big mix of students. Some are studying history and others are doing accounting. The building itself is quite plain, just a regular concrete structure with lots of windows. We have a small parking area that gets very full with bikes during the day. Sometimes the wind picks up dust from the Ring Road, but we try to keep the classrooms clean. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with books and old exam papers. We spend our days mostly lecturing or helping students with their forms. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. The neighborhood around Adarsh Nagar is mostly houses and some small shops. We see the same people walking their dogs or going to the store every morning. It feels like a very normal part of Bijapur. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, so the building is starting to show its age a little, but it works for us. We just keep things moving along and make sure the students have what they need for their classes.
