Secab Women Deree College

Secab Women Deree College is located in Jala Nagar, which is over in Vijayapura. It’s a place specifically for women to come and finish their higher education. The college sits in a part of Karnataka where things can get pretty warm, so the hallways are usually the best place to be. We have several floors with different departments. Most of the students come from the local area or nearby villages, so there is a lot of talk in the corridors between classes. The building is functional and we use every bit of space we have for desks and chairs. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but the girls find their way here every morning. We don't have any fancy corporate offices here, just rooms for learning and a place for the staff to sit and handle the admissions. The library is usually quiet, but the rest of the college has a steady buzz of voices. People in Vijayapura know the SECAB name since it has been around for a while. We focus on getting the syllabus finished and making sure the exams happen on time. There is no big marketing team here, just the teachers and the office people trying to keep things organized for the students. It’s a straightforward environment without any extra fluff. We just do the work that needs to be done. It seems to work out okay for everyone involved.
