Shapes Pre School

Shapes Pre School is tucked away on Mangal Lakshmi Street in the Sankaranpalayam area of Vellore. If you are looking for us, we are at number 19, right in Veera Swamy Nagar. It is a small place because we only deal with the little ones who are just starting out. The morning usually starts with a bit of a fuss when the parents drop the kids off, but things quiet down once the toys are brought out. Our rooms are small but we try to keep them bright with drawings and charts on the walls. The street outside can get a bit busy with bikes and people going to work, but inside it is all about the children. We do not have a big office or a corporate team. It is just a few of us teachers and some helpers from the neighborhood. Most of the parents are people we see every day at the market. Vellore is a hot place, so we make sure the windows stay open to catch whatever breeze we can. You will see little bags and water bottles lined up by the door every single day. It is messy work and there is always someone needing help with something, but that is just how it is. We have been at this address for a few years now, watching the local kids grow up before they move to the bigger schools. It is just a simple neighborhood pre-school.
