Hi Tek Hollow Block & Bricks

We are located at 12 on 13th Street in Gandhi Nagar, which is part of the Virupakshipuram area. Despite the name, there isn't actually anything very high-tech about what we do here. We have some basic machines for making the hollow blocks, but it is still mostly about sweat and manual labor. The yard is tucked away in a spot that can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for 13th street. We spend our mornings mixing the grit and the cement. It is a repetitive job. One person fills the mold, the machine shakes it, and then we carry the wet blocks out to dry. We have been doing this for a few years now. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, but our vibrating machines can make a bit of a racket. We try to finish the loud work before it gets too late in the day. Our stacks are spread out all over the lot so they can get enough air to dry properly. We don't have any sales people or marketing guys. If you want blocks, you just come to the gate and talk to whoever is operating the mixer. We have a small dog that hangs around the yard and barks at the delivery trucks. It is just a small, local business where we do the same thing every single day. We are just working to keep the supplies moving for the local builders.
