Our office is sitting right on Sengunder Othavadai Street in Sholinghur. It is a local spot, number 10, and most people around here know the street well. It is a typical Tamil Nadu setting with the heat and the local shops nearby. We have been working out of this space for a while now. The building is older but it serves our needs just fine. Inside, you will find a few of us at our desks dealing with the routine work that comes through. We do not go for anything flashy. It is just basic furniture and the equipment we need to do our jobs. The street outside can get a bit crowded during festival times or when there is a lot of local activity, but that is just part of being in this area. We usually start early to beat the worst of the midday sun. Most of our neighbors are people we see every day, so there is a nice sense of community. We handle our paperwork, talk to whoever stops by, and keep things running as smoothly as we can. It is not a corporate headquarters with glass walls; it is just a practical place to get things done. We have a small corner for files and a place to sit when we take our breaks. It is a straightforward operation and we like it that way. No fuss, just work.
