Abirami Traders

Abirami Traders is at 18, Thiru Vi Nagar, Sathuvachari. It’s located in a part of Sathuvachari that stays pretty active throughout the day. Our building is number 18, and we’ve been working out of this space for some time now. The work we do is mostly about handling goods and making sure our inventory is correct. We don’t have a lot of help, so we do most of the heavy lifting and organizing ourselves. The mornings are usually spent checking what arrived the day before and putting it where it belongs. Thiru Vi Nagar has its own rhythm, and we just follow along with it. We have a desk in the corner with a lot of notebooks where we track everything. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't had the time to get around to it. We are more focused on getting the orders right and making sure the stuff is ready when it needs to be. It can get a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in, and we have to shuffle things around to make space. We just keep at it until the sun goes down. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet all day long. That’s how we like it.
