Indian Navy

We are situated at 160-C in Nofra-I, right on Airport Road in Dabolim. This is where the Indian Navy has some of its local administrative offices, specifically under Cdr A K Singh. Being so close to the airport means there is a constant hum of engines in the background, but we have all grown used to it over the years. This isn't a place for fancy tours or public displays. It is a working office where we handle the logistics and the daily grind of naval operations in the Goa area. The building is functional and straightforward, just like the work we do. We have desks, some old filing systems, and a lot of maps on the walls. Most of us have been in the service for a while, so there is a lot of talk about old deployments and common friends. The sun in Dabolim can be quite harsh, so we mostly stay indoors and keep the work moving. We deal with a lot of phone calls and official mail every day. It is a lot of routine, but it is important for keeping everything on track. We don't have any flashy slogans or mission statements plastered on the walls. We just come in, do our bit for the Navy, and make sure the paperwork is in order before we head home to our families in the evening.
