You can find us at Flat No. P-1 on the 4th floor of the Karma Empress building. Being right next to the Kadamba bus stand in Vasco means there’s always a lot of noise and movement outside, which definitely keeps us on our toes. We spend our days dealing with water systems and technical stuff that people usually don't think about until something goes wrong. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at data, then heading out to Verna or other parts of Goa to see how the equipment is actually holding up in the field. The elevator in this building sometimes has a mind of its own, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like, but it’s good exercise. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of technical manuals stacked up in the corner. We get a lot of dust from the road because of all the buses, so we’re constantly cleaning the window sills. It’s a practical job and we try to keep things straightforward with our clients. We aren't interested in fancy talk; we just want to make sure the water flows where it’s supposed to and that everything stays clean. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing this for long enough that we know the local quirks of the pipes and the pumps around here.
