M. P. Fabricators

Finding M. P. Fabricators means heading down Narayan Dixit Lane to our spot at K- 18/59. It is one of those narrow city lanes where space is always a bit tight. We do all our metal fabrication work right here on site. Most of the day, you’ll hear the sound of welding or the grinder cutting through steel. Because the space is small, we have to be very careful about where we stack the raw materials and the finished jobs. The lane outside stays busy with neighbors and bikes trying to squeeze past each other. We don't have a showroom or any kind of fancy entrance for visitors. You just walk straight into the workshop area. Our tools are mostly kept on the walls and we have one heavy metal table for the main work. Most of the time, we are just in our work clothes and masks, covered in a bit of dust. It isn't a place for a quiet conversation. It is loud and hot, but that’s the nature of the job. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time. We know everyone on the street. Sometimes we take a break on the front step just to get some air. We don't use big words to describe the work. We just cut the metal and weld it until the job is done. It is our little corner for hard work.
