Pal Steels

Pal Steels is located right in the middle of things in Varanasi City. We are in the Maldahiya area, specifically in the Loha Mandi, which makes sense because that’s the iron market. Our spot is just opposite the Parag Dairy. If you smell the dairy, you know you are close to our gate. The Loha Mandi is always loud and crowded with carts, rickshaws, and trucks, and we are right in the thick of it. We have been here for a good while, handling steel and iron for all sorts of local construction. It’s a family-style environment where we know the other shop owners and the tea seller on the corner. The shop itself is usually full of pipes, rods, and sheets piled up. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. Working in Varanasi, especially in a place like Maldahiya, means you have to be patient with the traffic. We start early before the roads get too blocked up. People come to us because we’ve been in the Loha Mandi long enough to be a familiar face. We don't do much advertising; people just know the Pal name near the dairy. It’s hard work, moving heavy metal in the heat, but it’s what we do. We just keep the gates open and wait for the next customer to walk in. We don't have many employees, just enough to get the loading done and manage the accounts.
