If you ever find yourself in the Pandeypur area of Varanasi, you might stumble across our spot in Bhaktinagar Colony. We are tucked away in Main Lane, at number 38. It’s a lively neighborhood, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. Our setup here is pretty straightforward. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just us working out of this space. The lanes can be narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle, but we’ve figured out the tricks over time. Daulatpur is a good place to be based. Inside, it’s mostly just files and computer screens. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just part of living in UP, so we have a backup that kicks in with a loud hum. Everyone knows everyone around here. We usually get our lunch from the local shops nearby. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our jobs at Usha Martin Limited. The monsoon season makes the lanes a bit muddy, but we just wear our sturdy shoes and keep going. It feels like home after all these years. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the desks get a bit cluttered when things get busy. It’s just how it goes when you’re actually working in a real office.
