Our workshop is located in Jogapur, right near the Handia Toll Plaza. If you are driving by, you can usually hear the sound of metal being cut or the welder going long before you see the sign. It’s a dusty spot because of all the trucks passing through the toll all day and night. We started this because we knew how to work with steel and iron, and there was a need for it in this part of town. The floor is usually covered in scrap metal and bits of welding wire, but we know where everything is. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones, and we spend most of our time out there in the heat getting things joined together. Some days it is just basic repair work for local guys, and other times we are building bigger frames for sheds or gates. It gets really hot in the summer under the tin roof, but we are used to it by now. We don't spend much time in the small office area since the real work happens on the workbenches. People just drop by when they have something broken or need a specific piece made up. We keep it simple and just try to get the pieces out the door when we said we would. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. It's just what we do here in Jogapur.
