Gupta Cold Drink

This is Gupta Cold Drink, situated near the Primary School in Harhua, Varanasi. Our shop is in the Koirajpur area, and we have been here for a while. Mostly, we deal in beverages and small snacks that go well with a cold drink. The refrigerators are always humming in the background, which is the main sound you hear in the shop. Since we are near the school, we get a lot of kids wanting something cold to drink after their classes are over. The summers in Varanasi are no joke, so the cold drinks are very popular when the sun is high. We have a few crates stacked up outside the shop because there isn't enough room inside. I usually spend my time rotating the bottles so the coldest ones are at the front. It is a simple life, just opening the shop, greeting the neighbors, and making sure the machines are working right. Sometimes people just stop by to stand in the shade for a minute. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here by the Primary School. It is a small business, and I handle most things myself. I try to keep the floor swept, but with the dust from the road, it is a never-ending job. It is just a local spot for a quick drink.
