We are located at Plot No. 287, No. 12-A, in Phase-2 of the GIDC. It’s your typical industrial area with lots of trucks and warehouses everywhere. Vertellus Specialty Materials has been operating from this spot for a while. Our work involves a lot of handling different materials that go into other products. It’s the kind of stuff most people don't think about, but it’s necessary. The sun beats down pretty hard on the corrugated roofs in the afternoon here. We have a rhythm to our day, starting early before it gets too hot. Our space is organized for moving stuff in and out efficiently. There isn't much to see if you're just passing by, just a lot of drums and crates. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorative plants. We just focus on the task at hand. The guys in the warehouse know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s a noisy place with the sounds of machinery from the neighboring plots. We’ve gotten used to the hum of the industrial estate. It feels like a place where things actually get made and moved. Sometimes the power goes out or a truck gets delayed, and we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be anything other than a solid, working part of the GIDC. It’s just what we do every day.
