Sonal Industries

If you ever find yourself in the 3rd Phase of GIDC in Vapi, you might pass by our place at Plot No. 2433. Sonal Industries is just one of many small units in this part of Gujarat, and we’ve been operating out of this specific spot for quite a while. The weather here can be really tough on the building, especially when the monsoon hits and the rain drums loudly on the corrugated metal roof. We do our best to keep the inventory dry and the machines wiped down. Inside, the space is packed with equipment and crates, leaving just enough room for us to move around comfortably. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know how the machinery behaves. Usually, there is a radio playing somewhere in the background, but the industrial hum of the neighbors often drowns it out. Vapi is a busy town, and being in the GIDC means there is always movement outside our gates. We have a small office area boxed off in the corner where we keep the ledgers and the telephone, though it’s mostly covered in dust from the production floor. We eat our lunch together around a small table, usually talking about the work left for the afternoon. It is a straightforward life here at Plot 2433, focusing on the tasks right in front of us. We aren't doing anything fancy, just our regular industrial work and keeping things moving.
