SMP Machine

Our place is at Shop No. 204 in the Sunrise Complex. It's right there in the Vapi Industrial Estate, tucked behind the Indian Bank at Char Rasta. If you’ve ever been to Gidc, you know how hectic the traffic can get around the crossroads, especially during the shift changes. It’s not the quietest spot to run a business, but it keeps us close to everything we need. SMP Machine has been in this unit for quite some time. The complex itself is always full of activity, with people going in and out of the bank or visiting the other shops nearby. Inside our shop, it’s mostly just shelves of parts and a couple of old desks piled with papers. We spend a lot of our time looking through catalogs or checking the inventory we have on hand. It gets pretty warm in the middle of the day, especially in the summer months, so we keep the ceiling fans going constantly. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there; we just focus on the machinery work that comes our way each morning. Most of our neighbors are also in the industrial trade, so we all kind of know each other and say hello. Sometimes a customer will come in just to ask for directions to another unit, and we help them out. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby area for visitors to wait in.
