Pratex Repairs Services is situated at Plot No. 8 in the Gk Building. If you are looking for us, we are right near Adivasi Bhavan on Dokar Khada Road in Silvassa. Being in a Union Territory, we get all sorts of people coming through. The road outside can get pretty dusty and loud with all the transport moving back and forth, but inside the Gk Building, we just focus on the repairs. It is a practical workshop. We have benches set up with all our tools spread out, and there is usually something half-taken apart at any given time. We’ve been at this Silvassa location for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. The humidity here can be something else, especially during the monsoon, so we are always checking on the gear to make sure everything stays in good shape. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We don’t spend much time sitting behind a desk. Most of the day at Pratex Repairs Services is spent fixing whatever has stopped working.
