M.K. Fasteners

We are located right near Gunjan Hotel. It is a simple spot, nothing too flashy about it. We deal mostly with fasteners, which means lots of small pieces of metal in boxes and bins. If you come by, you'll hear the sound of things clinking together all day long. It is a bit of a niche business, but it keeps us busy. We don't have a huge staff or a fancy showroom. It's more of a practical space where we can get work done and help people find what they need for their projects. Sometimes people getting a meal at the hotel next door wander in out of curiosity. We don't mind. We've been in this area for a while and we like the rhythm of the neighborhood. The space is often a bit cramped because we have so much inventory tucked away in every corner. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with mission statements and polished presentations. We just open up in the morning, sort through our orders, and see who shows up. It can be tedious work, counting out small parts, but it’s what we know how to do. The walls are a bit bare and the lighting could be better, but it works for us. We are just a small team trying to make a living by selling the things that hold everything else together. It is honest work and it keeps us on our toes most of the time. We stay open until the sun goes down.
