Pragati Engineering

Pragati Engineering is tucked away at Plot No. 1002, 1/A-B, Phase Iii, Gidc. It’s a decent-sized plot where we’ve set up our workshop and a small office area. Being in Phase III means we have plenty of neighbors doing similar industrial work. Our daily routine is pretty straightforward. We get in, check the lists, and start up the machines. There is a specific smell to the place—a mix of cutting oil and coolants. We have a few benches where we do the manual assembly and some larger machines for the heavy stuff. The lighting isn't perfect, but it works for what we need to do. We don't have a dedicated sales team or anyone in a suit. Most of us wear work shirts and boots. Sometimes the phone rings and it’s someone looking for a part we haven't made in years, and we have to go digging through the back storage. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We take pride in just getting the job done without making a big deal out of it. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the noise. Most of our projects are just steady work that requires a bit of patience and a lot of measuring. We’ve been at this plot for a while, and the gate has a bit of rust, but the machines inside are kept in good shape. It works for us.
